Honey BBQ chicke thighs, sweet potato mash and sauteed cabbage with pancetta

It is mid afternoon on the 29th December, and you can drive up the long winding pathway of the Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley.

You park in the spacious car park and check into your luxurious reserved room. It is a wonderful place to relax, sip a glass of wine and prepare slowly and attentively for the amazing night you are about to experience.

At 6.00 prompt you casually glide down the stairs into the mingle area of the African and Caribbean Alpha Ball.

Where you are invited to indulge in a

Caribbean luxury 3 course meal.
A sensuous and sophisticated fashion show
Award winning dance demonstration
followed by an amazing mix and blend of tunes from today and yesteryear, selected by one of the top DJ's of the north.

Then, with a face full of joy and feet that ache from the dancing the whole night, you retire to your luxurious room to rest in your comfortable bed.

You awake refreshed and alert with a smile on your face, as you go down for a healthy breakfast, before leaving and taking a leisurely drive back home.
